Immigration Law and Nationality - British Nationality

If you have gone through all the “visa” processes to obtain your permanent residence or indefinite leave to remain, why not considering applying for British nationality? We can help you and your family to apply to become British citizens.

Nationality law can be complex and is constantly changing. For example, the Home Office has just made it more difficult for European residents to become British citizens, and can now refuse nationality applications if the person was in breach of immigration rules within the 10 years prior to their application.

Before you submit your application, and incur the Home Office fee, we will review your immigration history, working history and give you realistic advice on the prospects of success of an application. You then can make an informed decision as to whether or not you wish to proceed.

We can also assist your children to become British citizens, for example:

  • If your child was born in the UK and lived here for the first ten years of his/her life, she/he may have a right to register as British
  • If your child was born in the UK and you later acquired Indefinite Leave to Remain or Permanent Residence, she/he is entitled to be registered as British
  • If your child has Indefinite Leave to Remain or Permanent Residence, you may want to register her/him as British citizen.

Please contact us to discuss your nationality case.
